READ BEFORE CHECKOUT:

This is a workshop. No physical product will be shipped. Upon check out, it will be automatically set as "in-store pick-up". Please contact us to make a reservation. This workshop requires minimum two participants (two sets of soaps, all cold process) and can be scheduled any time during our business hours.

Time Required:

This workshop usually takes 3h to finish. However, it varies greatly from individual to individual. The soaps could be picked up the next business day or any day after.

Size:

The quantities of soaps you can make in one workshop depend on the size of the mold you choose. The total weight of the soap base is 700g.

e.g.

Regular loaf mold: 6 bars

Cupcake: 5 pieces

Wagashi/Small Rectangle: 10-11 pieces

Free Packaging:

Each soap will be individually packaged in elegant boxes. This makes it ideal for gift giving.

Curing:

Curing is the process of allowing saponification to complete and for water to evaporate out. In this way, the soap is dry, harder, milder and the lye non-existent in the finished product. It takes about 4 weeks for a soap to dry and the lye to be totally transformed. If you pick up the soaps before the 4-week curing finished, we will label the date when you can start to use the soaps.

Sweating:

Decorating accessories, if applicable, are made of melt and pour soap. It has added glycerin that pulls in moisture from the air. This can cause beads of moisture on the bar called sweating or glycerin dew. This is normal and will have no impact on functionality.

Suggested Use:

Hand wash, shower, light dish-washing
